Panda Programmer previously offered online coding camps during the pandemic years, but we no longer run virtual camps or virtual summer programs. Today, all of our programming, robotics, and STEM instruction is offered through our in-person summer camps, weekend classes, and after-school programs. These formats provide stronger interaction, better collaboration, and a more engaging learning experience for students in grades 1 through 8.
Although online camps are no longer available, families can explore our full range of hands-on, instructor-led summer camps on our main Summer Camps page. Each location offers a fun and structured experience where students create games, animations, stories, Python scripts, and robotics projects in a small-group environment. You can learn more about each location by visiting the Gaithersburg Summer Camp, the Silver Spring Summer Camp, the Bethesda Summer Camp, or the Washington DC Summer Camp pages.
During the school year, students can continue their coding journey through our in-person weekend classes. These small-group sessions offer consistent, age-appropriate instruction in Scratch, Python, JavaScript, and robotics. Class times and locations are listed on our Weekend Classes page.
We also provide after-school programming classes at numerous Montgomery County and Northwest DC schools. These classes allow students to learn immediately after the school day in a familiar and supportive environment. Families can explore school partners and registration details on our After-School Programs page.
If your family is looking for online options, we hope you will consider one of our in-person programs, which offer stronger interaction, real-time support, and a more engaging learning experience. For answers to common questions about our current offerings, visit our FAQ page.
