Our Story
Founded in 2014, Panda Programmer has taught thousands of elementary and middle school students the joys and wonders of coding. We teach online classes, after-school programs, summer camps, in-school field trips, and home-school groups, using our proprietary curriculum that we developed in-house. The subjects we teach include Scratch, Scratch JR, robotics, as well as Python and JavaScript/Web Development. We make coding fun! Below are pictures of our team members.

Would you like to teach for Panda Programmer?
Are you studying Computer Science or a similar field in IT? Or maybe you already have a degree? The job description for our teachers is:
- Teach coding to children in grades K through 8
- Physical classes are held in Gaithersburg, Rockville, Germantown, Silver Spring and Potomac
- Classes are on-going throughout the year
- We hire both Lead and Assistant teachers
- We use the Scratch programming platform
- Students learn structured programming and how to make games
- Classes are 2 hours long
- Weekday after-school classes are after school, typically from 4pm to 6pm
- Weekend classes are Saturdays and Sundays between 10am and 2:30pm
- Online classes are weekdays and weekends
- You should be dependable, a quick learner, and great with kids
- You should have a car
- You must be authorized to work in the USA (EAD or green card is ok, but no F-1 visas)
