After-school classes is the primary format of learning offered by Panda Programmer . Programming classes for kids are 2-Hours long, beginning upon school dismissal. If we’re at your school, enroll today!

Coding Classes are offered as an after-school program at select schools around Montgomery County, Maryland. Panda Programmer focuses on both private and public Elementary and Middle Schools.

Not at your school, or want additional classes?  We also offer weekend coding classes for kids in the Kentlands and in Silver Spring. 

An additional option for getting your child involved in programming is our In-School field trips. Our experienced teachers visit your school, and bring our coding classes to you! Speak with your principal, PTA, or teachers if you are interested in having Panda Programmer visit your school for an In-School field trip.

After-School Class Structure

After-School Classes consist of 6 or fewer students per teacher. As a result, we are able to ensure that each student receives personalized one-on-one instruction regardless of skill level. Our experienced Instructors utilize our tried-and-true curriculum developed at Panda Programmer specifically for Scratch, Python, and JavaScript.

Our Curriculum is specifically designed to be customizable per student, as our classroom structure is tied to the individual instead of the group. In combination with a 6-to-1 Student to Teacher ratio, we’re able to ensure no student is ever left behind.

Panda Programmer teaches students using both the “drag and dropped” approach as well as the text based coding approach. Our user friendly coding courses involve coding games, as well as educational projects. Once students have mastered Scratch, our advanced courses introduce the students to different coding languages such as Python and JavaScript.
